I have been a Musician for 30 years, the last 20 of those years as a hobbyist, songwriter, and the last 5 years as a hobbyist composer, 20 years ago I had some of the best music teachers money could buy, among my Favorites are Mr. George Predrone, Guitar Jazz Soloist, and Mr. Mark Ownson Guitar Soloist Instrumentalist \ Notwithstanding, The lessons and the Teachers that i have been privileged to have, did not make me a good Guitarist, It just laid a foundation, Once the theory, was established and understood, it was up to me to apply it. That's what made me a Good Guitarist / Musician. and practice and practice to the X10th power. My Teaching Style is very straightforward and starts at the student's ability and comfort level with his or her instrument. Also it depends on the goals and the effort the student has affirmed and the effort the student is willing to put fourth in achieving them, Therefore depending on the current level of the student, is where we start,

Music Vocabulary very similar too the English Vocabulary, Case and Point, when you and I first learned how to read we first learned how to pronounce the vowels did we not? Without being able to pronounce the vowels we would have never been able to read the words, Reading the words lead to the meaning of the words, which led us to formulate and create sentences... Music is the same way.........
